Shey Phoksundo Lake, the name is given as Shey Phoksundo national park with covered by 3555 sq km. Dolpo lies midwestern (mostly northern) part of Nepal. It is an important point of Upper Dolpo, which behind the massif Mount Dhaulagiri and towards the Tibetan Plateau. So, Upper Dolpo is a rain shadow (by monsoon).
